Futuristic Moment Ukrainian Drone Takes Russian Soldier Prisoner

This is the futuristic moment a Ukrainian drone takes a Russian soldier prisoner and escorts him to their position.

The footage shows the Russian soldier following the Ukrainian drone to a position held by Ukrainian soldiers, who detain him.

The images were obtained from Operational Command ‘West’ of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on Wednesday, 31st January, along with a statement saying: “A MAVIC [drone] captured a Russian soldier.

“The future has already arrived. Now our drones are capturing Russian soldiers.

“Drones are the backbone of modern warfare. We have no right to lose.”

The images and statement were also relayed by the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 31st January 2024, Russia had lost approximately 385,230 personnel, 6,310 tanks, 11,757 armoured combat vehicles, 9,195 artillery units, 974 multiple launch rocket systems, 663 air defence systems, 332 warplanes, 324 helicopters, 7,100 drones, 1,846 cruise missiles, 23 warships, 1 submarine, 12,231 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,452 units of special equipment.

Ukraine is set to receive a first large batch of long-range missiles built by Boeing and Saab.

The missiles will extend its range deep into Russian-held territory.

The new missiles will also supplement its ATACM rockets, which are provided by the US.
