Israel has launched a new wave of airstrikes on Hezbollah targets across Lebanon, escalating cross-border hostilities.
The strikes were carried out in several areas of Lebanon on 2nd March, as Israel widened its military campaign beyond its borders.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it had begun striking additional Hezbollah targets, including weapon storage facilities and infrastructure used by the Iran-backed group.
According to the IDF, the latest wave followed overnight rocket and drone launches by Hezbollah toward Israel.
Footage released by the military shows what it said was a strike on Hezbollah operatives overnight.

The escalation comes after Hezbollah said it had launched missiles and drones at Israel in retaliation for the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Israel’s military chief of staff Eyal Zamir said operations against Hezbollah could last for days, describing the campaign as continuous waves of strikes.
