Russia has said that its artillery has hit Ukrainian military positions near Kherson.
The footage shows Russian artillery repeatedly firing from a forested area, with their field gun draped in camo netting.
The images then cut to a damaged house being hit by ordnance.
The images were obtained from the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) on Friday, 31st May, along with a statement claiming: “Artillerymen of the Dnepr group of troops are smashing the enemy in the Kherson direction.”

The Russian MoD added: “Crews of 122-mm towed howitzers D-30 of the Dnepr group of troops carry out fire missions to destroy armoured vehicles, fire weapons, ammunition depots, fortified positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as swimming craft (boats) of the enemy on the right bank of the Dnieper.
“This time, the personnel of the D-30 howitzer battery inflicted fire on the identified camouflaged firing positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and also destroyed the observation post, which was equipped in an abandoned house.”
We have not been able to independently verify the claims or the footage.
