This footage shows a Russian soldier putting what appears to be a huge pan on his head to protect himself from a Ukrainian drone.
The video begins by showing the Russian soldier standing in the doorway of a partially destroyed building before it is targeted by a Ukrainian drone.
As a second drone hones in on its target, the soldier puts the pan on his head, with the drone then going through the doorway and the video footage cutting as it detonates.
The images were obtained from the 65th Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Sunday, 19th May, along with a statement saying: “According to the situation in Robotino, the village is under the control of Ukrainian defence forces.
“The clearing of the occupiers is ongoing. A resourceful Russian decided to save himself from an FPV drone of the 65th Mechanized Brigade by putting a pan on his head.
“Did it help him? The answer is obvious. Aerogroup ‘Ronins’ guaranteed his road to hell.”
