Ukrainian Drones Drop Bombs On Russian War Machines On The Frontlines

These images show Ukrainian drones dropping bombs on Russian war machines on the frontlines.

The footage shows a number of Russian war machines being hit by Ukrainian ordnance in large explosions.

The images were obtained from the State Border Service of Ukraine on Tuesday, 12th December, along with a statement saying: “Super-ability of the attack UAVs of the ‘NOY’ group of the DPSU – to turn enemy equipment into scrap metal.

“In the South, the border guards burned 2 tanks, an armoured car, 3 cars and 1 truck of the invaders in one night and inflicted fire damage on the occupants’ shelter.”

The images and statement were also relayed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Russia invaded Ukraine on 24th February 2022 in what the Kremlin is still calling a “special military operation”. Today marks the 657th day of the full-scale war.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 12th December 2023, Russia had lost about 340,650 personnel, 5,664 tanks, 10,579 armoured combat vehicles, 8,073 artillery units, 919 multiple launch rocket systems, 605 air defence systems, 324 warplanes, 324 helicopters, 6,163 drones, 1,596 cruise missiles, 22 warships, 1 submarine, 10,650 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,170 units of special equipment.

Russia has claimed that its casualties have been much lower but provides infrequent updates on its latest figures.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky is in Washington DC attempting to rescue a USD 61 billion military aid package.

Zelensky is due to meet US President Joe Biden today, Tuesday, as well as several US senators and the Speaker of the House, the Republican Mike Johnson.

Zelensky said that Ukraine is counting on the United States and that delays to the military aid were “dreams come true” for Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Zelensky said in a speech: “Putin must lose.”

He added: “You can count on Ukraine, and we hope just as much to be able to count on you.”
