This is the moment Ukrainian special forces clear a house held by Russian forces during a close-quarters battle.
The operation involved the ‘Jaegermeister’ group of the 144th Special Operations Forces (SSO) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and took place near the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region of Ukraine during winter 2025, with the footage released on 14th March.
The video shows Special Forces soldiers moving through the building as they carry out the clearance, with one moment capturing the silhouette of an enemy fighter reflected in a mirror before the soldiers respond.
The SSO said in a statement: “SSO operators clearing a house near Pokrovsk. During special operations in winter 2025 near Pokrovsk, the ‘Jaegermeister’ group of the 144th SSO centre successfully carried out the clearing of a house occupied by the enemy.
“During the planned clearing of the house, the operators noticed the silhouette of the enemy in a mirror.
“According to close combat guidelines and tactics, the operators used grenades and carried out ‘sector firing’ from their positions.
“However, the enemy continued to resist despite offers to surrender.
“As a result of the consistent actions of the ‘Jaegermeister’ group, the Russian was destroyed, the house was successfully cleared, and the group moved on to clearing other buildings without losses.
