US Warplanes Hit Iranian Fighter Jets And Hangars In Precision Airstrikes

This is the moment US forces unleash precision airstrikes on Iranian fighter jets and aircraft hangars as military operations against Iran continue.

The footage was released by US Central Command (CENTCOM) on 2nd March and shows strikes on targets identified as Iranian military assets inside Iran.

Dramatic video shared on social media captures powerful explosions tearing through what CENTCOM said were parked fighter jets, drones and hangars at an Iranian facility. Fireballs light up the sky as aircraft and structures appear to be hit in rapid succession.

Alongside the footage, CENTCOM said: “U.S. forces are taking bold action to eliminate imminent threats posed by the Iranian regime. Strikes continue.”

According to the official statement, the operations are being carried out under presidential orders and are aimed at neutralising threats linked to Iran’s missile capabilities.

No details were provided on casualties or the extent of the damage.

CENTCOM also rejected reports that the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, operating in the Arabian Sea, had been struck by ballistic missiles. The command said the vessel had not been hit and continues flight operations in the region.

The strikes follow confirmation on 28nd February that the United States and Israel had launched combat operations against Iran after weeks of escalating tensions.

In a video message, US President Donald Trump said the offensive was designed to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and to dismantle its long-range missile capabilities, which he described as a threat to US security.
