Ukrainian Border Guard Artillerymen Hit Russian Positions With RAK-12 MLRS

These images show Ukrainian border guard artillerymen hitting Russian positions in the Kharkiv region of eastern Ukraine with a RAK-12 multiple launch rocket system.

The footage shows the Ukrainian weapon repeatedly firing rockets into the air, with the images then cutting to an explosion, reportedly the Russian positions being hit.

The images were obtained from the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (DPSU) on Thursday, 23rd May, along with a statement saying: “Border units are an integral part of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.

“Artillery border guards in the Kharkiv direction encountered enemy infantry trying to hide from a fierce encounter with our defenders on Ukrainian land.

“We will not allow the enemy to destroy our land!

“Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!”

The DPSU also said that the weapon used was a RAK-12 MLRS.
