IDF Says It Attacked 250 Targets In Gaza In One Day

The Israel Defense Forces have said that their Air Force attacked 250 targets in Gaza in one day, destroying weapons, underground shafts, and other “terrorist infrastructures”.

The footage shows Israeli soldiers on the ground in Gaza, moving in jeeps and tanks and opening fire on unseen targets with assault rifles.

The images also show Israeli armour firing shells at unseen positions.

The images were obtained from the Israel Defense Forces on Tuesday, 6th December, along with a statement saying: “In the last day, the Air Force attacked about 250 targets in the territory of the Gaza Strip, the fighters continue to locate and destroy weapons, underground shafts, explosive charges and other terrorist infrastructures.

“The forces of the 7th Brigade’s combat team and the brigade’s fire support directed a fighter plane that destroyed the two launchers from which the terrorists carried out the barrage in the centre of the country yesterday.”

A second piece of footage shows a soldier searching a ruined classroom.

They also said in a separate statement: “Also, as part of the attacks, terrorists from the terrorist organisations Hamas and Islamic Jihad were eliminated, along with a number of terrorist infrastructures that were destroyed.

“IDF forces from the Kafir Brigade eliminated an armed terrorist squad that was operating near a school in the northern Gaza Strip.

“Afterwards, the fighters located and destroyed an underground shaft and other terrorist infrastructures located in the area of ​​the school.”

A third piece of footage shows people on the ground being hit by Israeli ordnance in a huge fireball.

The IDF said in another statement: “Weapons and ammunition were found in another school in the north of the Gaza Strip.”

At least 16,248 Palestinians have been killed after Israel retaliated with airstrikes on Gaza and a ground invasion.

Dozens of Palestinians have reportedly been killed in an Israeli airstrike on homes sheltering displaced people in the town of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.

US President Joe Biden has denounced the reported mass rapes of and brutal sexual violence committed against Israeli women and girls by Hamas militants during the 7th October attack on Israel.

Speaking at a campaign fundraiser in Boston, Biden noted that in the last few weeks, female survivors have shared “horrific accounts of unimaginable cruelty”.

Biden said: “Reports of women raped – repeatedly raped – and their bodies being mutilated while still alive – of women corpses being desecrated, Hamas terrorists inflicting as much pain and suffering on women and girls as possible and then murdering them.”

He added: “It is appalling.”

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have issued a rare apology after a strike mistakenly killed a Lebanese soldier while striking a Hezbollah-linked target.

Israel is reportedly preparing to flood the Hamas tunnel network in Gaza.

Israel’s military is attacking southern Gaza’s main city, Khan Younis.

The commander of the Israeli military’s Southern Command, General Yaron Finkelman, said that it was the fiercest combat since the beginning of the IDF’s ground invasion of Gaza.
