Israeli Air Force Says It Has Attacked ‘100s Of Terrorist Targets’ In Gaza

The Israeli Air Force said that it has hit “hundreds of terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip”, with images showing a number of buildings being flattened by airstrikes.

The footage shows a number of powerful explosions as buildings in Gaza are levelled.

The images were obtained from the Israeli Air Force on Thursday, 9th November, along with a statement saying: “The Air Force continues to powerfully attack hundreds of terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip.”

We have not been able to independently verify the claims or the footage.

The Israel-Hamas war is now entering its 34th day, after the deadliest attack on Israel by Hamas on 7th October left 1,400 Israelis dead.

Israel has since retaliated with airstrikes on Gaza and a ground invasion, with the Hamas-run Ministry of Health in Gaza saying that at least 10,569 people have died, many of them women and children.

It said that 4,324 of the dead are children and that an additional 26,457 Palestinians have been injured.

Israel Defense Forces spokesperson Daniel Hagari has said that Hamas has “lost control” of northern Gaza.

He added: “We saw 50,000 Gazans move from the northern Gaza Strip to the south. They are moving because they understand that Hamas has lost control in the north.”

The Pentagon has said that its forces launched an airstrike on a facility in eastern Syria that has been linked with Iranian-backed militias.

The strike, reportedly carried out by two F-15 fighter jets on a weapons storage facility linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, was in retaliation for increasing attacks on US bases in the region.

Syrian media has also reported separate strikes on military assets in southern Syria which it said had been carried out by Israel.

Israel has said that it has destroyed 130 Hamas tunnels in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of its operations in the ground.

But Antonio Guterres, the United Nations Secretary-General, has said that something is “clearly wrong” with Israel’s military operations because of the number of civilians killed.
