Israeli Forces Show Building Being Destroyed With Bombs And Diggers And Announce Arrests

These images show Israeli forces destroying buildings with bombs and diggers in Gaza while announcing the arrest of a number of individuals.

The footage shows a building being destroyed by Israeli ordnance before cutting to a digger tearing another building down.

The images were obtained from the Israel Defense Forces on Friday, 15th December, along with a statement saying: “The IDF (Israeli Defense Forces), Shin Bet, and Border Police arrested five wanted individuals last night and confiscated terror funds in various locations in Judea and Samaria, as well as in the Jordan Valley and the valleys.”

We have not been able to independently verify the claims or the footage.

The Israel-Hamas war is now entering its 69th day, after the deadliest attack on Israel by Hamas on 7th October left 1,200 Israelis dead.

Nearly 19,000 Palestinians have been killed after Israel retaliated with airstrikes on Gaza and a ground invasion.

Israel has said that it has recovered the bodies of two soldiers who were kidnapped by Hamas.

A spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces named them as Nick Beizer and Ron Sherman, both 19, both kidnapped on 7th October from their army base by Hamas.

Israel has reportedly carried out a fatal attack on a school in Khan Younis, where Al Jazeera reporting that 33 people died.

A Dutch court has ruled that the Netherlands can continue to deliver F-35 fighter jet parts to Israel which are being used in the Gaza Strip.

The ruling came after the Dutch court in The Hague threw out the case that had been brought by a group of human rights organisations.

US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan has said during a press conference in Tel Aviv that the war in Gaza is set to transition to a new phase focused on more precise targeting and taking out the Hamas leadership based on intelligence-driven operations.

Sullivan said: “The conditions and the timing for that was obviously a subject of conversation that I had with Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu.”
