The Israeli military has said that it has attacked Hezbollah infrastructure in Lebanon.
The footage shows the Israeli military bombing a number of targets.
The images were obtained from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on the evening of Sunday, 12th November, along with a statement saying: “The IDF attacked the infrastructure of the terrorist organisation Hezbollah in Lebanese territory.
“A fighter jet and an IDF aircraft attacked several targets of the terrorist organisation Hezbollah, including a military compound with a warehouse of weapons and military infrastructure.”
We have not been able to independently verify the claims or the footage.
The Israel-Hamas war is now entering its 38th day, after the deadliest attack on Israel by Hamas on 7th October left 1,400 Israelis dead.
Israel has since retaliated with airstrikes on Gaza and a ground invasion, with the authorities in the enclave saying that at least 11,180 people have died, many of them women and children.
It said that over 4,609 of the dead are children and that an additional 28,500 Palestinians have been injured.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that the largest hospital in Gaza, the Al-Shifa hospital, is “no longer functioning” and is without power.
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus also said that the hospital had been without water for three days and was “not functioning as a hospital anymore”.
Health officials in Gaza and people trapped inside the hospital on Sunday rejected claims by Israel that it was helping to evacuate babies and other people.
The Health Ministry said that the last generator ran out of fuel on Saturday, leading to the deaths of three premature babies and four other patients.
The WHO said that a further 36 babies were at risk of dying.
Israel’s military said that it had placed 300 litres of fuel near the hospital so that emergency generator could power incubators for premature babies.
But a spokesperson for the Health Ministry in Gaza, Ashraf al-Qidra, said that the fuel would not be enough to operate the generator for even an hour.
He said: “This is a mockery towards the patients and children.”
At least 20 of Gaza’s 36 hospitals are reportedly no longer functioning.
Israel’s northern border remained on high alert after an exchange of gunfire overnight with Hezbollah.
Israel’s military said that it is continuing to battle Hamas in Gaza.
The US military has carried out further strikes against facilities in eastern Syria, which US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin said were being “used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Iran-affiliated groups.”
