Russia has said that it has destroyed an American-made Ukrainian M1 Abrams tank and a Bradley infantry fighting vehicle using Krasnopol high-precision artillery shells.
The footage reportedly shows the Ukrainian war machine and infantry on the frontlines before it is apparently hit by the Russian ordnance.
The images then cut to footage of a number of explosions on the battlefield.
The footage was obtained from the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) on Saturday, 4th May, along with a statement claiming: “UAV and artillery crews hit the enemy.
“The Tsentr Group of Forces’ FPV drone operators and artillerymen destroyed a US-made M1 Abrams tank and a Bradley IFV [infantry fighting vehicle] in the zone of the special military operation.”
The Russian MoD added: “The US-manufactured tank was destroyed by Krasnopol high-precision artillery munition.”
We have not been able to independently verify the claims or the footage.
