Russia Says Its Su-25 Fighter Jets Hit Camouflaged Ukrainian War Machines And Soldiers

Russia has said that its Su-25 fighter jets have hit camouflaged Ukrainian war machines and soldiers, as these images purport to show.

The footage shows one of the Russian aircraft taxiing on the runway and taking off before flying over countryside and firing its deadly ordnance at unseen targets along with a second plane.

The aircraft then deploy flares and take evasive action, with a number of explosions seen in the background that apparently are the Ukrainian positions being hit.

The images were obtained from the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) on Sunday, 19th May, along with a statement claiming (in English): “Su-25 ground-attack aircraft hit AFU camouflaged hardware and manpower in the Tsentr Group of Forces’ responsibility area.”

The Russian MoD added: “According to the reports of a forward air controller, all the assigned targets were successfully hit.”

We have not been able to independently verify the claims or the footage.
