Russia Says Its Uragan MLRS Took Out Ukrainian Troops With 220-mm Projectiles

Russia has said that it has taken out Ukrainian troops using a multiple-launch rocket system.

The footage shows a Russian Uragan multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) repeatedly opening fire on unseen targets before the video cuts to a Russian soldier talking to the camera in front of one of the vehicles.

The images were obtained from the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) on Wednesday, 22nd May, along with a statement claiming (in English): “Uragan MLRS crew of Sever Group of Forces thwarts AFU [Armed Forces of Ukraine] counter-attack.”

The Russian MoD added: “Russian artillery launched strikes at the enemy’s assault groups with 220-mm projectiles. The AFU losses amounted to up to 30 Ukrainian troops.
