Russia Says One Of Its Su-34 Fighter Jets Hit Ukrainian Positions With FAB-500 Unguided Bombs

Russia has said that one of its Su-34 fighter jets has hit Ukrainian positions with FAB-500 unguided bombs.

The footage purports to show the Russian aircraft being fitted with ordnance before taking to the skies and dropping its bombs on the Ukrainian positions.

The images were obtained from the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) on Monday, 20th May, along with a statement claiming (in English): “The Su-34 crews wipe out the enemy’s stronghold and manpower in the area of the Vostok Group of Forces responsibility. To eliminate the target, the pilots deployed FAB-500 unguided aerial bombs with universal planning and correction modules.”

We have not been able to independently verify the claims or the footage.
