Russian Soldiers Jump In Panic After Their Armoured Vehicle Is Targeted By Ukrainian Kamikaze Drone

These images show a Ukrainian kamikaze drone taking out a Russian military vehicle with personnel on it on the frontlines.

The footage shows the Ukrainian drone honing in on the Russian armoured personnel carrier and hitting it.

Then the footage shows Russian soldiers jumping from the armoured vehicle in panic after being targeted by another Ukrainian kamikaze drone.

The images were obtained from the Military unit 3017 of the National Guard of Ukraine on Wednesday, 20th December, along with a statement saying: “Fighters of the 3 brigade of operational purpose “Spartan” national guard in the Zaporizhia direction continue to cause the enemy of destructive losses.”

“Yes, once again, the enemy attempted offensive actions. Pilots of the FPV-drone Spartan Brigade successfully targeted the engine of a Russian T-80 tank and also struck two BMP-3s. Resulting in the destruction of one and damage to the other. Due to the impaired equipment, the enemy was compelled to retreat.”

Russia invaded Ukraine on 24th February 2022 in what the Kremlin is still calling a “special military operation.” Today marks the 665th day of the full-scale war.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 20th December 2023. Russia had lost approximately 349,190 personnel, 5,814 tanks, 10,794 armoured combat vehicles, 8,206 artillery units, 928 multiple launch rocket systems, 611 air defence systems, 324 warplanes, 324 helicopters, 6,316 drones, 1,612 cruise missiles, 22 warships, 1 submarine, 10,871 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,203 units of special equipment.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed that the military has formally requested an additional 450-500,000 individuals for potential mobilisation into the army, though a final decision is pending.

Zelensky noted that discussions on this “sensitive issue of mobilisation” are underway among top military and government officials, with parliament set to consider the matter.

The US Senate indicated that a deal for additional aid to Ukraine and bolstering US border security might be delayed until January.

Ukrainian Kamikaze Drone Hits Russian Heavy Self-Propelled Gun

The UK’s Ministry of Defence reported that Russia likely fired a ballistic missile, described as a “super weapon” at Ukraine last Thursday, marking the first such launch in several months.

In a significant move of support, Italy’s cabinet passed a law decree allowing the supply of “means, materials, and equipment” to Ukraine until the end of 2024.

Denmark has also announced an enhancement of its military cooperation with the US. Signalling a breakthrough in Danish defence policy involving the presence of US soldiers and equipment on Danish soil.

Russia has voiced concerns over a new defence agreement between Finland and the US. Summoning Finland’s ambassador and vowing to counter perceived aggressive decisions. Especially regarding NATO military presence near its border.
