Russian Troops Disrupt Ukrainian Soldier Rotation With T-72 Main Battle Tanks Near Avdiivka

The astonishing footage shows Russian troops disrupting the rotation of Ukrainian forces with T-72 main battle tanks.

The successful operation carried out by soldiers from Russia’s Central Military District in the area of the city of Avdiivka, in eastern Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast, on 2nd April.

They reportedly used T-72 main battle tanks to execute the strike, according to a statement obtained by Clipzilla from Russia’s Ministry of Defence.

The statement continued: “During aerial reconnaissance, the crew of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) ‘Orlan-30’ detected targets and transmitted their coordinates to the tank unit for suppression.

“Taking up firing positions, the tank crews, using digital ballistic computers and panoramic sights ‘Sosna-U’ equipped on modern tanks. Destroyed all identified targets at a range of over five kilometres [3.1 miles] with high-explosive fragmentation rounds.

“The swift attack by the tank crews forced the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants to abandon their firing positions and withdraw.

“The shooting was conducted with a high-angle trajectory with constant fire adjustment by the UAV operator.”
