These images show Ukrainian artillery taking out Russian forces near the city of Chasiv Yar.
The Ukrainian side also accused the Russian invaders of war crimes for employing scorched earth tactics, using multiple launch rocket systems on the city.
The footage shows huge plumes of smoke rising from the city after it was apparently hit by Russian ordnance.
The images then show Russian forces being hit by Ukrainian ordnance near the city.
The images were obtained from the “Black Swan” Strike Group of the 255th Assault Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Tuesday, 21st May, along with a statement saying: ” Currently, there are no Russians in the city of Chasiv Yar.
“The occupying forces have once again committed a war crime by using MLRS systems on the city of Chasiv Yar. (The video shows them covering the entire city with rocket salvos. Civilians still remain in the city.)
“The invaders are employing a ‘scorched earth’ tactic, methodically destroying the city.
“Over the past day, there have been five attempted breakthroughs of varying intensity in our sector of the front. None were successful.”
