These images show a Russian self-propelled howitzer burning profusely after it was hit by Ukrainian drone while refuelling among some trees.
The footage shows the Russian 2S19 Msta-S self-propelled howitzer gushing smoke before flames appear as it burns.
The Russian military truck quickly reverses and takes off down a dirt track as Russian soldiers flee before the howitzer explodes, causing a plume of black smoke to rise into the air.
The images were obtained from the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade ‘Edelweiss’ of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Wednesday, 22nd May, along with a statement saying: “The Russian SAU-2C19 ‘Msta-S’ was destroyed.”
They also said that the Russian war machine had been hit while it was refuelling.
