WAR IN UKRAINE: Ukrainian Forces Destroy Russian BMP-3 With Javelin Missile

These images reportedly show Ukrainian forces taking out a Russian BMP-3 with a Javelin missile.

The footage appears to show the Russian war machine being hit by the Ukrainian ordnance, with it then bursting into flames before exploding in a large fireball.

The images were obtained from the 68th Separate Jager Brigade named after Oleksy Dovbusha of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Monday, 17th April, along with a statement saying: “The Wolverines destroyed an enemy BMP-3, which for several weeks had ‘haunted’ the positions of the 68th Separate Jager Brigade named after Oleksy Dovbusha.

“A well-placed shot from a Javelin reduced the [vehicle] to a pile of burning scrap metal, along with her crew.”

The images and statement were also relayed by the Office of Strategic Communications (StratCom) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
