Ukrainian forces have praised American Bradley infantry fighting vehicles after one of them destroyed a Russian armoured personnel carrier, as seen in this footage.
The Ukrainian side said that “American technology plays a very powerful role here”, with the images showing the Russian armoured vehicle racing across the battlefield before troops disembark and head into a forested area.
The Russian war machine then begins to leave the scene but an American-made Bradley is then shown heading towards it and opening fire.
The Russian military vehicle is then peppered with rounds fired from the Bradley’s gun, catching fire as the footage ends.
The images were obtained from the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade ‘Magura’ of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Thursday, 2nd May, along with a statement saying: “Bradley infantry fighting vehicle dismantles enemy armoured vehicles near Avdiivka.
“Fighters of the 47th separate mechanized brigade once again demonstrate their superiority on the battlefield. American technology plays a very powerful role here, especially under the management of real professionals.
“Kurt’s crew of the 2nd mechanised battalion of the 47th OMBr works.
“In total, the enemy tried to storm with seven units of equipment: two tanks and five MT-LB. As a result, the equipment was burnt.”
The footage was also relayed by the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
