These images show Ukrainian forces taking out Russian troops on the battlefield with drone bombs, mortars and other weapons including anti-tank rifles.

The images were obtained from the 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Mariupol brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Monday, 13th November, along with a statement saying: “Both from the earth and from the sky.

“With a grenade, a mortar or an anti-tank rifle – Ukrainian accuracy reaches the enemy.

“Not in words, but in deeds, our team reminds the foreigners that they have no place here. We destroy effectively, and most importantly, efficiently.”

The images were also relayed by the ground forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Tuesday, 14th November, along with a statement saying: “The 56th brigade destroys the invaders with various types of weapons.”

Russia invaded Ukraine on 24th February 2022 in what the Kremlin is still calling a “special military operation”. Today marks the 629th day of the full-scale war.

Baerbock said: “We will not only continue our support for Ukraine, we will continue to expand and increase it, especially on the part of the Federal Republic of Germany, not only with a view to the winter defence for the coming weeks and months, when it is clear that the Russian president will once again exploit the needs of the people in the cold winter.

“Our support will also be massively expanded, especially for the coming year.”
