Ukrainian Paratroopers Drop Drone Bombs On Russian Forces And War Machines

These images show Ukrainian paratroopers dropping drone bombs on Russian soldiers and military vehicles.

The footage shows a number of Russian soldiers and military vehicles being targeted by Ukrainian ordnance on the battlefield.

The images were obtained from the Office of Strategic Communications (StratCom) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Sunday, 12th November, along with a statement saying: “Combat work of paratroopers of the 77th separate airmobile brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”

Russia invaded Ukraine on 24th February 2022 in what the Kremlin is still calling a “special military operation”. Today marks the 628th day of the full-scale war.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 13th November 2023, Russia had lost about 312,550 personnel, 5,354 tanks, 10,079 armoured combat vehicles, 7,569 artillery units, 881 multiple launch rocket systems, 580 air defence systems, 322 warplanes, 324 helicopters, 5,634 drones, 1,561 cruise missiles, 22 warships, 1 submarine, 9,949 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,079 units of special equipment.

Russia has claimed that its casualties have been much lower but provides infrequent updates on its latest figures.

Russians fighting for Ukraine have reportedly killed an FSB Colonel during an ambush in Russia’s Bryansk oblast.

Russia said on Sunday that there had been a series of attacks in Bryansk and Belgorod that had damaged five train carriages and that one attack had caused a freight train to derail in Russia’s Ryazan oblast.

Ukraine’s defence intelligence agency said that three Russian FSB intelligence officers had been killed in an explosion by local resistance forces in Russian-occupied Melitopol while they were meeting at a post office being used as a military headquarters.

Ukraine’s military has said that Russian troops had begun a push to regain territory near Bakhmut.

Boris Pistorius, Germany’s Defence Minister, said on Sunday that Berlin would double its military aid for Ukraine in 2024 to EUR 8 billion.

He said: “This is a strong signal to Ukraine, showing we are not giving up on it.”

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned Ukrainians to prepare for new waves of Russian attacks on the country’s infrastructure during winter.

Ukrainian veterans and the families of Ukrainian servicemen have held a rally in Kyiv calling for legislation that would regulate the length of active military duty.

The UK Ministry of Defence has said that large elements of the Wagner mercenary organisation have likely been assimilated into the command structure of the Russian National Guard.
