These images show Ukrainian forces blowing up Russian positions in a “temporarily occupied settlement” on the frontlines.
The video shows Ukrainian forces manoeuvring into position at speed in what appears to be a Humvee before they come to a stop and get out, opening fire on the Russian enemy.
The footage then shows them storming a building and a shallow trench while opening fire on the building and clearing rooms. A number of buildings are destroyed in explosions as the footage ends.
The images were obtained from the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakov Handziuk of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Friday, 19th April, along with a statement saying: “If the occupiers think that having temporarily taken control of the settlement, they can feel like masters here, the fighters of the 59th brigade will prove that they are very wrong.
“Assault groups of the intelligence unit of the brigade fly into occupied villages on Humvees, drive up to houses where enemy soldiers are stationed, and simply throw explosives into the windows, blowing everything up.
“Vanky does not even have time to understand what happened. Several dozen occupiers have already destroyed in this way.
“The assault is only the tip of painstaking teamwork. Without which there would be no successful result: intelligence, detailed planning, scrupulous preparation.
“It is thanks to this that our guys manage to complete the combat task quickly and efficiently, and most importantly – without losses.
“There will be no rest for the occupier on Ukrainian land.
“Let’s keep in line!”
