Russia Says Its Mi-35 Helicopters Destroyed Ukrainian Strongholds Near Kupiansk

Russia has said that it has destroyed Ukrainian strongholds near Kupiansk using Mi-35 helicopters.

The footage shows one of the Russian combat helicopters being loaded with ordnance before it takes off.

The video then shows it flying low over countryside before unleashing its deadly ordnance on unseen targets.

The video then shows the chopper and another helicopter circling around and apparently heading back to base as the footage ends.

The images were obtained from the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) on Friday, on 19th April, along with a statement claiming: “The crew of the Mi-35M helicopter hit enemy strongholds and manpower in the Kupyansk [Kupiansk] direction.”

Ukrainian Helicopters Support Infantry By Firing Rockets On Frontlines

The Russian MoD added: “The strike was carried out by unguided aircraft missiles. According to the reports of the forward aircraft gunner, all of the indicated targets were successfully hit. The flight went as usual.”

We have not been able to independently verify the claims or the footage.
