These images show a large explosion after a Russian war machine is hit by Ukrainian ordnance before its injured crew can be seen fleeing the battlefield.
The video shows the Russian war machine advancing at speed along a dirt road before it is suddenly hit by a huge explosion.
The footage then shows apparently injured Russian soldiers fleeing back down the road after they reportedly extracted themselves from the remains of the war machine.
At least three Russian soldiers can be seen crawling out of it and crawling back down the road before coming to a stop as the footage ends.
The images were obtained from the Poltava Separate Brigade of Territorial Defence Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Tuesday, 20th June, along with a statement saying: “The occupiers are on fire again!
“The Poltava separate brigade of the TRO [Territorial Defence Forces], together with their comrades, destroyed another enemy vehicle of the Muscovites with a well-aimed shot.
“The four hundred and eighty-second day of the heroic resistance of our people continues, and the ‘poor’ occupiers have not yet understood that only death awaits them on Ukrainian soil!
“Ukraine cannot be overcome! Glory to the Ukrainian defenders! Glory to Ukraine!”
Russia invaded Ukraine on 24th February 2022 in what the Kremlin is still calling a “special military operation”. Today marks the 482nd day of the full-scale war.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 20th June 2023, Russia had lost about 221,460 personnel, 3,997 tanks, 7,750 armoured combat vehicles, 3,888 artillery units, 614 multiple launch rocket systems, 372 air defence systems, 314 warplanes, 306 helicopters, 3,393 drones, 1,214 cruise missiles, 18 warships, 6,645 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 531 units of special equipment.
Russia has claimed that its casualties have been much lower but provides infrequent updates on its latest figures.
