Russia Said Its Paratroopers Took Out Ukrainian Infantry Using ATGM

Russia has said that its forces have taken out a Ukrainian rotating infantry group using a ‘Fagot’ anti-tank guided missile.

The footage purports to show Russian soldiers opening fire on an unseen target before the scene cuts to explosions on the frontlines.

The images obtained from the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) on Wednesday, 27th March, along with a statement claiming: “Formations and military units of the Airborne Forces continue to carry out combat missions in the special military operation zone.

“The crew of the Fagot anti-tank missile system of the Tula Guards Airborne Forces destroyed a group of Ukrainian Armed Forces infantry by launching a guided missile, thereby disrupting their rotation in the Seversky direction in the area of the settlement Razdolovka.

“North of Soledar, scouts of the Tula paratroopers discovered a group of Ukrainian Armed Forces infantry of up to 10 people approaching forward positions for rotation.

“Using communications, the coordinates were promptly transmitted to the control point, from where an order was received for their destruction by the crew of the Fagot anti-tank missile system. Having received the task, the crew immediately moved to the specified area and prepared the Fagot ATGM for use.”

We have not been able to independently verify the claims or the footage.
