The video purportedly shows Russian soldiers destroying a Ukrainian strongpoint in an attack with BM-21 ‘Grad’ rocket launchers.
The attack was allegedly carried out by soldiers from Russia’s Southern Military District in the area of the city of Bakhmut, in Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast, on 20th February.
Russia’s Ministry of Defence said in a statement obtained by Clipzilla: “Near the line of contact on the Bakhmut direction, positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as a concentration of enemy personnel, were identified by UAV units.
“Executing their combat mission, the ‘Grad’ MLRS [Multiple Launch Rocket System] calculations of the Southern Military District units conducted a nighttime strike with 122mm rockets at the specified reconnaissance coordinates, successfully hitting the Ukrainian Armed Forces strongpoint.
“After each firing, the vehicle covertly changes position for reloading and delivering new strikes.”
