These images purport to show soldiers from the People’s Militia of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic striking Ukrainian military positions.
The footage appears to show Ukrainian soldiers at the Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Plant (AKHZ) being targeted by artillery fire in eastern Ukraine.
The images were obtained by Newsflash from the People’s Militia of the so-called DPR on Wednesday, 12th April, along with the statement saying: “Artillery of the 6th battalion of the 9th brigade and the 1454th regiment destroy the enemy in the AKHZ area.
“According to the identified targets, the artillery fire of the 6th battalion of the 9th brigade (previously 6th battalion of the NM DPR) and the 1454th regiment was adjusted.
“The enemy suffered heavy losses.”
We have not been able to independently verify the claims or the footage.
