These images show Ukrainian attack drones destroying Russian soldiers and military vehicles hidden behind a treeline near Avdiivka.

Aerial footage shows the attack drones hitting the remains of Russian armoured vehicles that have been camouflaged and concealed among trees along with the soldiers hiding behind them.

The images were obtained by Newsflash from the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade, on Tuesday, 9th January, along with a statement saying: “Utilisation of enemy biomaterial on the Avdiivka direction!

“The 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade continues to destroy Russian army personnel and equipment.

” Work of the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade.”

The images and statement were also relayed by the Office of Strategic Communications.

Russia invaded Ukraine on 24th February 2022 in what the Kremlin is still calling a “special military operation.” Today marks the 686th day of the full-scale war.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 10th January 2024. Russia had lost approximately 366,790 personnel, 6,038 tanks, 11,216 armoured combat vehicles, 8,684 artillery units, 956 multiple launch rocket systems, 639 air defence systems, 329 warplanes, 324 helicopters, 6,834 drones, 1,805 cruise missiles, 23 warships, 1 submarine, 11,575 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,336 units of special equipment.
