These images show Ukrainian soldiers using paintball guns as they practice storming Russian trenches and taking out enemy soldiers.
The FPV video shows several Ukrainian soldiers rehearsing trench warfare using paintball guns in mock battles against each other while wearing protective paintball masks.
The video shows them ducking and shooting around corners while trying to take each other out before they have to do it in real-world conditions.
The images were obtained from the 72nd Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Tuesday, 30 April, along with a statement saying: “Sweat, bruises, emotions and improved skills.
“It may seem that paintball is not an activity for the military because civilians can also do it in cities far from the front. But let’s remind you – drones were made for beautiful videos, in hard-to-reach places.
“New approaches to training make them more interesting, safer, and therefore more effective.”
The images were also relayed by the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine today, on Wednesday, 1st May.
