Ukrainian Special Forces Destroy Russian Observation Post

These images show Ukrainian special forces blowing up a Russian observation post.

The footage shows the observation post been blown up after being hit by the Ukrainian ordnance on the frontlines near Avdiivka.

The images were obtained from the Command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On Wednesday, 20th March, along with a statement saying: “Destroyed enemy and enemy observers watchpoint.

“While conducting special operations in the Avdiivka sector, a sniper of the 3rd separate regiment of the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine discovered the location of an enemy observation post.

“After confirming the presence of Russian servicemen on the observation post, the information transmitted to a unit of unmanned aerial vehicles.

“After that, an attack UAV was launched at the target.

“As a result, the joint actions of snipers and UAV operators destroyed the fortified observation post and two enemy soldiers.”

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 21st March 2024, Russia had lost approximately 433,840 personnel, 6,832 tanks, 13,074 armoured combat vehicles, 10,740 artillery units, 1,018 multiple launch rocket systems, 721 air defence systems, 347 warplanes, 325 helicopters, 8,365 drones, 1,922 cruise missiles, 26 warships, 1 submarine, 14,242 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,741 units of special equipment.
