These images show Ukrainian border guards destroying a Russian infantry fighting vehicle inside a building using kamikaze drones.

The video shows the Ukrainian kamikaze drone discovering and hitting the hidden Russian infantry fighting vehicle inside a building in the Kherson region.

The images were obtained from the State Border Service of Ukraine on Monday, 2nd April, along with a statement saying. “Border guards-operators of ‘war birds’ destroy infantry fighting vehicle in Kherson region.”

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 2nd April 2024. Russia had lost approximately 443,660 personnel, 6,998 tanks, 13,350 armoured combat vehicles, 11,120 artillery units, 1,023 multiple launch rocket systems. 744 air defence systems, 347 warplanes, 325 helicopters, 8,779 drones, 2,058 cruise missiles, 26 warships, 1 submarine, 14,783 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,832 units of special equipment.

Both Russia and Ukraine claimed to have shot down each other’s drones over the Black Sea.

The Russian Ministry of Defence said that its air defence units intercepted six Ukrainian drones aiming to conduct a “terrorist attack.”

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Air Force spokesperson confirmed the downing of a sophisticated and costly Russian “Forpost” drone. Describing it as one of Moscow’s most advanced assets.
