These images show Ukrainian forces destroying Russian tanks on the frontlines using kamikaze drones.

The video shows a number of Russian tanks on the battlefield when they are hit by Ukrainian kamikaze drones in large explosions.

The images were obtained from the Office of Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On Monday, 1st April, along with a statement saying: “A Russian tank column turns into a scrap yard. Work of the 14th Separate Regiment of Unmanned Aviation Complexes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 2nd April 2024. Russia had lost approximately 443,660 personnel, 6,998 tanks, 13,350 armoured combat vehicles, 11,120 artillery units, 1,023 multiple launch rocket systems. 744 air defence systems, 347 warplanes, 325 helicopters, 8,779 drones, 2,058 cruise missiles, 26 warships, 1 submarine, 14,783 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,832 units of special equipment.

Both Russia and Ukraine claimed to have shot down each other’s drones over the Black Sea.

The Russian Ministry of Defence said that its air defence units intercepted six Ukrainian drones aiming to conduct a “terrorist attack.”

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Air Force spokesperson confirmed the downing of a sophisticated and costly Russian “Forpost” drone. Describing it as one of Moscow’s most advanced assets.
