These images show Ukrainian forces destroying a Russian tank and two BMPs on the frontlines.

The images show the Russian war machines being hit by Ukrainian ordnance on the battlefield.

The images were obtained from the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Thursday, 16th November, along with a statement saying: “The sad story of an enemy tank, two BMPs and their crews.”

The images and statement were also relayed by the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russia invaded Ukraine on 24th February 2022 in what the Kremlin is still calling a “special military operation”. Today marks the 631st day of the full-scale war.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 16th November 2023, Russia had lost about 315,620 personnel, 5,388 tanks, 10,121 armoured combat vehicles, 7,683 artillery units, 892 multiple launch rocket systems, 585 air defence systems, 323 warplanes, 324 helicopters, 5,689 drones, 1,563 cruise missiles, 22 warships, 1 submarine, 10,060 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,084 units of special equipment.

Russia has claimed that its casualties have been much lower but provides infrequent updates on its latest figures.

The Czech Republic has frozen Russian state assets in the country, including property, with Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky saying: “At my suggestion, the government today approved the freezing of Russian state assets in the Czech Republic.

“The commercial activities from which Russia finances the murder of Ukrainians ends here.”

Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for Russia’s Foreign Ministry, has said that Ukraine joining NATO would be unacceptable to Russia.

She said: “Whether in parts or in any form, Ukraine’s accession to NATO is unacceptable for Russia.”

Ukrainian officials have said that a Russian missile has killed two emergency workers in southern Ukraine as they were putting out the fire from a previous attack that had occurred only minutes earlier.

The strikes in Zaporizhzhia injured at least seven other people.

The EU’s proposed ban on the export of machine tools and machinery parts that Russia uses to make weapons targeting Ukraine.

The proposal is part of the 12th proposed sanctions package against Russia, which also includes diamonds.

Russia has admitted for the first time that some Ukrainian troops had established positions on the Russian-controlled side of the Dnipro River.

Ukrainian Marines are reportedly reinforcing positions and three villages on the eastern bank of the Dnipro and have cut off one road that Russia uses to resupply troops in the area.
