Ukrainian Special Forces Destroy Russian R-330Zh ‘Zhitel’ Automated Jamming Station

The footage shows the Russian automated jamming station being blown up after being hit by the Ukrainian artillery.

The images were obtained from the Command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Monday, 1st April, along with a statement saying: “With the well-coordinated work the enemy’s R-330Zh ‘Zhytel’ system was destroyed thanks to the reconnaissance operators of the 3rd Separate Regiment of the Special Forces and the soldiers of the missile and artillery unit of the Defence Forces.”

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 1st April 2024. Russia had lost approximately 442,880 personnel, 6,986 tanks, 13,321 armoured combat vehicles, 11,082 artillery units, 1,023 multiple launch rocket systems. 744 air defence systems, 347 warplanes, 325 helicopters, 8,757 drones, 2,057 cruise missiles, 26 warships, 1 submarine, 14,752 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,826 units of special equipment.

France’s top diplomat has urged China to express its stance clearly to Russia regarding the war in Ukraine.

French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejourne said that it was important that China send explicit messages to Russia during discussions with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, in Beijing. He stressed the necessity of negotiated peace with Ukrainians for lasting peace and security in Europe in line with international law.

Russian attacks have claimed the lives of at least three people in eastern Ukraine, with two more casualties reported in the Lviv region. In Kharkiv, a strike hit civilian targets, while heavy shelling killed a man in Borova earlier on Sunday. No injuries reported from the bombings in Kharkiv.

Russian forces bombed the border territories and settlements of the Sumy region 39 times on Sunday, with 157 explosions recorded from various ordnance. Sumy has faced repeated attacks in recent weeks, leading to evacuations.

In Russia’s Belgorod region, a woman was killed when a border village was attacked. The details of the military action from both sides have not been independently confirmed.

In his Easter message, Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelensky. Assured Ukrainians that their spirit remains unbroken despite Russian missile strikes.

On Sunday, Zelensky, along with Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and foreign ambassadors, commemorated the two-year anniversary of Bucha’s liberation from a month-long Russian occupation. Zelensky honoured the 509 identified civilians killed during the occupation by laying a lamp at the town’s remembrance wall.

France has pledged to provide Ukraine with hundreds of armoured vehicles and new surface-to-air missiles. President Emmanuel Macron instructed his Defence Minister, Sebastien Lecornu. To prepare a new aid package comprising both functional older equipment and modern missiles.
